This week saw NHS England host the annual Health and Care Innovation Expo in the Manchester Central Convention Complex. Health and social care providers from across the world gathered to show off their innovative use of technology, and how it was helping their staff and patients.
Software development companies held some key spots, showing the increased importance of custom-made tools for different aspects of care, data analysis and automation. The NHS seems to be really waking up to what computers can do for them.
